The New York Times has left up a false Tweet repudiated by the Patriots comparing team size between the New England Patriots White House visit under President Trump and former President Obama. On April the 19th, President Trump welcomed the Super Bowl 51 Champion New England Patriots to the White House.  The media watched this carefully.  The media watched this event carefully and not because they desired to watch the celebration but because Trump is a polarizing figure that they can't stand, and they were hoping as few players as possible would show up. Donald Trump set the media into a frenzy on March 4 when he Tweeted in the morning that Obama had "wiretapped him."  The Tweets read as follows: Terrible! Just found out that Obama had my "wires tapped" in Trump Tower just before the victory. Nothing found. This is McCarthyism! Is it legal for a sitting President to be "wire tapping" a race for president prior to an election? Turned down by court earlier. A NEW LOW!
